Engineering Manager - Vehicle Platform and Propulsion

The Vehicle Platform and Propulsion team is at the forefront of chassis, battery and E-propulsion as well as steer and brake systems. Building the core services that power our autonomous fleet and developing the next generation of our sustainable vehicle technology. As an Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of talented engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, continuous learning, and high performance.

You Will:

• Lead and Mentor: Manage and coach a team of hardware engineers, supporting their career growth and skill development.
• Strategy and Execution: Partner with Product Management and other stakeholders to define the technical roadmap, set clear objectives, and ensure high-quality, timely delivery of projects.
• Technical Excellence: Drive best practices in hardware development, including design reviews, testing, monitoring, and operational excellence to maintain a scalable and robust platform.
• Hiring and Growth: Play a key role in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new engineering talent to expand the team's capabilities.
• Culture Building: Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and results-oriented environment where team members feel empowered to take ownership and innovate.

We Expect You To Have:

• Experience: Solid background as a successful engineering manager or technical lead with experience managing a team.
• Technical Depth: Strong technical foundation in Embedded Systems and Mechanical Design, with the ability to dive into complex technical discussions and guide architectural decisions.
• Leadership: Proven track record of shipping complex projects and motivating teams to achieve ambitious goals.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills.
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
