We currently have a permanent full-time opportunity for an Account Executive (BDM) to be part of a growing team. You will be positioned as the digital expert and asked to provide guidance to our prospects via phone and virtual meetings. You're there to help them achieve their business goals and overcome their challenges. You will have a fully qualified brief and know everything about the customer's business going in. You then position the right solution and manage them through the process of becoming a customer. Is this not the ultimate sales job?

Your role is to act as a digital expert, guiding prospects on how to achieve their business goals using our market-leading digital marketing and marketplace solutions.
You'll report directly to our Group Sales Manager, a female leader with extensive experience in the media industry. She is a passionate advocate for diversity and is actively shaping the industry for the better. Her leadership and mentorship will be a key part of your growth.
You will work with a qualified brief, giving you everything you need to know about a prospect’s business before the meeting. Your responsibility will be to position the right solution, manage the sales process, and bring new customers into our community. Here's what you will be doing:
- Strategic Planning: You'll start each week by reviewing KPIs and your progress using Hubspot.
- Hot Leads: You’ll receive an equal share of online sales and registration leads, to upsell and close of approximately 50 per month.
- Customer Engagement: You'll be booked into 12 meetings per week with prospects.
- Collaborative Teamwork: Debrief before each meeting with an Account Development Representative (ADR).
- Solution Selling: Follow our proven process for solution selling, identifying customer needs and building value.
- Closing Deals: Use our customized tools and Hubspot to send proposals, follow up, and close deals.
- Data-Driven Approach: Leverage our market-leading data on websites and performance marketing products to manage your pipeline and conversion rates. Our team culture ensures no one gets left behind.
- Continuous Learning: Attend monthly team meetings, participate in a monthly School of Excellence to refine your skills, and take advantage of quarterly courses recommended by Google and Hubspot.
Skills and experience that will help you succeed in this role:
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in an account executive, sales, or BDM role with a proven track record of successfully closing a high volume of low value deals.
- Proficiency with GSuite or Microsoft Office.
- The ability to quickly build rapport and guide a customer through the purchasing process.
- Exceptional communication skills for virtual, phone, and in-person meetings.
- A team-oriented mindset, as we all work together to help our customers.
