As a Facilities Manager, you would be responsible for overseeing the upkeep, repair, and new additions to the facility. Your role would involve managing a team of engineers and technicians, ensuring equipment reliability and performance, and optimizing equipment utilization to meet production goals and 100% facility uptime.

Manufacturing and Engineering Departments Physical Requirements:-Use appropriate PPE and follow all safety policies, practices, and procedures.-This position will often: Sit, stand for long periods, walk, grasp, reach with hands and arms, lift below and above shoulders, bend, twist at the waist, climb, balance, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, talk, hear, see, use fine finger manipulation, and complete repetitive motions. -Some tasks may require the use of ladders or stairs-Some tasks may require driving or the use of foot controls-Lift/carry and push/pull up to 50 pound

Responsibilities
- People Leadership & Collaboration: Manage and coach a technical team of engineers and technicians, driving strong collaboration across maintenance, production, and quality.
- Equipment Performance & Maintenance: Ensure high reliability and availability of equipment through rigorous troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and effective preventive/predictive maintenance programs.
- Budget & Resource Management: Control equipment-related budgets, track expenses, and optimize procurement and inventory for cost-effective resource utilization.
- Safety & Regulatory Compliance: Promote a safe work environment and ensure strict adherence to all applicable local regulations for equipment safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Documentation & Vendor Management: Maintain accurate documentation and reports on equipment performance (OEE/availability) while effectively managing relationships and performance with external vendors and suppliers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar engineering discipline, with 5+ years of facilities manager experience.
- Proven experience in the full lifecycle of advanced manufacturing equipment (design, build, install, commissioning, and production), high vacuum equipment experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in 3D/2D CAD, applying principles of Design for Manufacturing and assembly (DFMA and GD&T). Must be able to read and edit control schematics and P&ID drawings.
- Strong ability to troubleshoot control systems (reading PLC code, instrumentation) and oversee the maintenance, scheduling, and upgrades of critical plant infrastructure (electrical, HVAC, cooling, UPS).
- Proven experience in implementing lean manufacturing and six sigma methodologies, effectively managing resources by collaborating on inventory levels for maintenance supplies.
