Description

QualityLogic is seeking a Junior Web Developer (Front-End) to join our operations team. This position is ideal for individuals with a passion for building accessible, user-friendly web interfaces and a desire to grow their skills across multiple front-end frameworks. You’ll work closely with our software quality and accessibility experts to help design, test, and improve digital products for inclusivity and performance.
 
 The ideal candidate will have an excellent understanding of object-oriented coding, accessibility testing standards, and proficiency in JavaScript. A suitable candidate will have experience using Angular and React.

Required Qualifications

• Development experience
• Competent programming experience in the following languages: JavaScript
• Competent programming experience in JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, Vue)
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive web design
• Working understanding of accessible design principles and WCAG guidelines, including WCAG 2.1/2.2
• Formal education in software development or relevant work experience
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Customer Focus and Relationship Building, including demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
• Have a positive, “can do” attitude

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with accessibility remediation
• Version control systems like git
• Knowledge of ARIA guidelines
• Experience with accessibility testing tools, such as axe DevTools, Deque axe-core, or Pa11y.
