We are looking for a Sr. Database Architect in San Diego, California.
Summary
Architects enterprise data environments, ensuring scalability, integrity, and performance for NDMS, CRS, OneNDMS, and other FRCSW systems. Leads design of complex data models, warehouse structures, and integration solutions. Sets standards for data governance, security, backup strategy, and optimization. Troubleshoots advanced performance issues, oversees migrations, and mentors database and data engineering personnel.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage large-scale database architectures and data warehouses.
- Establish data standards and security controls in compliance with DoD CUI protocols.
- Integrate multiple data systems for reporting and analysis.
- Support system accreditation and cybersecurity documentation.
- Collaborate with developers, analysts, and network teams to enhance performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in database engineering and architecture.
- Proficiency in SQL, Oracle, and DoD-compliant data environments.
- Must possess an active Secret Clearance - Required
