About Your Opportunity
As the Data Architect, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of the organisation’s enterprise data architecture. This role ensures that data assets are structured, integrated, and governed to support strategic decision-making, operational efficiency, and digital transformation initiatives. Additionally, you will collaborate with stakeholders to align data architecture with business needs and develop data related policies to maintain data quality and consistency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic guidance and translate data strategy into actionable plans aligned with business and technology goals.
- Lead the development and maintenance of enterprise data models across all data-related projects and programs.
- Plan, design and deliver data and application integrations throughout their lifecycle.
- Shape and maintain data architecture standards, patterns, policies and procedures at enterprise and domain levels.
- Optimise core data platforms for performance, scalability and usability.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Tertiary qualifications in technology, engineering, mathematics, data science or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in data architecture, data modelling, integration, governance and data storage/processing.
- Proven ability to implement enterprise-level data architectures and provide technical leadership.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to evaluate current state and design future state solutions.
- Expertise in modern data platforms and cloud technologies, including ETL, data lakes, warehousing and analytics tools.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate complex data concepts into clear, business-focused language.
The position is offered on a permanent full-time basis, with a competitive salary package including 12.75% superannuation.
