Senior Full Stack Developer

Visma provides software solutions that cover HRM, Payroll and eGovernment with a diverse customer portfolio. Visma Labs is a team of more than 240 talented professionals in Latvia. We develop, test and support business systems as part of an international organization.

We're creating a scalable and configurable best-in-breed purchase-to-pay solution called Proceedo for purchasing, invoice processing and contract management. We experience high loads as the solution is already being used in different Nordic countries among well-known companies such as DNB, Nordea, Fazer and others.

Team Core - The team of 8 great professionals located in Sweden, Latvia, Lithuania and Romania. The team is working mostly with technical parts of the system - frameworks, queues, integrations, etc. and requires a good understanding of infrastructure and architecture of complex solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

A typical week mixes front-end and back-end development and you’ll:

• Build and maintain features in both Java and Angular
• Write automated tests using Java RestAssured
• Dive into key parts of Proceedo, such as authentication, user & supplier management, file handling, job queues, approval engines, and reporting
• Collaborate closely with your Core teammates to deliver stable, scalable solutions
• Continuously improve our processes, code base, and technical foundations

You’ll start with moderately complex features and test automation, supported by the team, before taking on broader areas over time.

Job Requirements:

We are looking for someone with 4+ years of experience in Java development using SpringBoot, as well as agile development with Scrum and Kanban. You are familiar with modern tools and concepts used in software development such as Git, REST, and OpenAPI.

• Strong Java software development experience
• Proven AI interest and experience
• Ability to work independently, organize your tasks, and drive development forward
• Fluent in English (B2 + level) - job duties include cooperation with people from other countries

Will be considered as an advantage:

• Experience with automation test writing
• Experience with RestAssured or similar frameworks
• Higher education in IT or similar
