The KitchenAid Retail Representative will play a crucial role in establishing relationships and enhancing the presence of KitchenAid's small appliances within the assigned territory. This position involves actively participating in the sales of KitchenAid products, negotiating with Trade Partners, and managing orders to ensure product availability and visibility in stores. The role reports directly to the Manager Retail Team Sales.
Key responsibilities include supporting the growth of the KitchenAid Small Appliance Business by engaging with Trade Partners to create an exceptional consumer experience in stores. This will be achieved through the implementation of world-class merchandising services, product demonstrations, and the collection of market insights and feedback to identify new business opportunities.
The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in sales and retail within the consumer goods sector, preferably in the kitchen small appliances industry.
- Execute coverage plan within assigned territory
- Complete merchandising tasks
- Collect market insights
- Engage with trade partners including: RSAs (Retail Sales Associates), management, decision makers and key stakeholders
- Conduct live product demonstrations and support trade shows
- Manage promotions and orders
- Identify new business opportunities
- Support trade partner program management
- Pitch new SKUs and bundles
- Fluent in French and English (this role is based in Montreal, however, you will be working closely with our client who operates in Ontario)
- University degree, in related field
- 1-2 years in Sales, preferably Consumer Goods (Infield Sales experience is a plus)
- Experience with Google Suite and Excel
- Proven ability to work autonomously and be accountable for outcomes
- Strong problem-solving skills with a bias for action
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Well-organized with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask effectively
- Flexibility to work evening and weekends as required to support events
- Territory responsibility will include overnight travel
- You must possess a valid drivers license and have access to a vehicle for regular travel within assigned territory (mileage will be reimbursed).
