ASRC Federal is looking for Network Engineer Operations Lead to manage, sustain, and defend the DHA enterprise GWLAN/WLAN infrastructure across data centers, MTFs, remote clinics, and other CONUS/OCONUS locations.
Responsibilities:
• Support coordination, troubleshooting, problem resolution, and customer service for all wireless users.
• Deploy, configure, operate, and maintain wireless services with 99% uptime.
• Detect, diagnose, and resolve wireless incidents, outages, and performance issues; achieve 60% first-contact resolution.
• Meet 99% IA configuration compliance; install patches/updates within IAVA 30-day requirements.
• Monitor wireless performance, security logs, access requests, and license usage; optimize service delivery and security.
• Track and report bandwidth, latency, and performance metrics; provide monthly service summaries.
• Notify Major Incident Management Office of outages exceeding 10 minutes.
• Support firewall, router, VPN, and network changes needed for Wireless and Guest Wireless services.
• Create and maintain Guest Wireless landing pages and related content in Aruba ClearPass.
• Complete and maintain all documentation for Wireless and Guest Wireless environments.
Requirements
• Master’s in Computer Science (or related field), or Bachelor’s with 10+ years enterprise network experience, or 14+ years of experience without a degree.
• 10+ years technical experience in Network/Transport technologies.
• 8+ years working with large-scale enterprise/global networks.
• 3+ years designing and managing secure wireless LAN infrastructure (medical industry preferred).
• Cisco CCNP/CCNP-Wireless or equivalent; or CCNA/CCNA Wireless with extensive enterprise/global experience.
• Strong enterprise wireless skills; Aruba experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with SolarWinds, eNMS/MFNA, automation, and configuration/orchestration tools is a plus.
• CompTIA Security+ (or ability to obtain within 30 days).
• Preferred: experience with Office, SolarWinds, Aruba ClearPass, ServiceNow, RMF, and DHA accreditation processes.
