TasWater
The purpose of the TasWater Capital Delivery Office (CDO) is to build the capability and capacity of TasWater to fulfil its customer promises for improved service levels by efficiently and effectively delivering an accelerated capital program of works.

Selfs Point Sewer Transformation Project
As part of TasWater’s commitment to investing in new and improved sewerage infrastructure to cater for Hobart’s future growth, we are delivering one of our most significant projects to date.
This transformative project includes the construction and commissioning of a new state of the art wastewater treatment plant at Selfs Point. Also, a new pumpstation at Macquarie Point is being constructed that will be connected to the Selfs Point plant by a new 4.3 kilometre pipeline.
Your Opportunity
TasWater CDO have a requirement for an experienced EI&C Construction Manager to join our Project Execution team. As the EI&C Construction Manager, you will be responsible for leading a diverse and high performing team and be responsible for the management and coordination of all on-site Electrical, Instrumentation and Control construction and energisation activities.
Your Accountabilities
- Lead and coordinate delivery by key subcontractors across LV, HV, fire, and security systems.
- Plan and align all electrical construction activities with the project master program.
- Manage technical and logistical interfaces between civil, mechanical, and electrical disciplines.
- Oversee electrical completions, testing, and system handover documentation.
- Manage HV/LV energisation planning, testing, and execution.
- Administer permit-to-work, isolation, and switching processes.
- Drive strong HSE performance and ensure compliance with project safety requirements.
- Extensive work in Construction Management (or similar level), preferably in multi-discipline complex infrastructure projects
- Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or relevant tertiary qualification (TAFE or similar)
- Experience in managing multiple electrical contractors concurrently
- Experience in brown-field water and wastewater electrical & SCADA works (desirable)
- Experience in the planning/sequencing and execution of electrical works on a multidisciplinary site
