Data Engineer

This role is suited for a highly experienced Machine Learning / AI Engineer who will lead the design, deployment, and scaling of advanced AI systems with a strong focus on Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). You will work end-to-end on building production-grade AI pipelines, integrating models into real-world applications, and ensuring performance, compliance, and scalability across platforms. The position demands both deep technical expertise and the ability to independently own complex AI initiatives from concept through launch and ongoing optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy scalable machine learning and AI solutions with a focus on LLM-based applications
• Develop and productionize RAG pipelines, including chunking strategies, embeddings, vector stores, retrieval logic, and evaluation mechanisms
• Build and manage data ingestion, validation, and transformation pipelines for structured and unstructured data
• Create and maintain AI-driven content generation workflows using LLMs and image/animation models
• Implement orchestration pipelines for ML workflows using scheduling and automation tools
• Integrate AI and ML services into backend systems using modern APIs and ensure seamless interaction with frontend applications
• Work with relational and vector databases to manage embeddings, metadata, and data catalogs
• Develop automated quality, compliance, and risk-mitigation checks for AI-generated content
• Optimize model performance, infrastructure usage, and cost efficiency in cloud-based environments
• Collaborate closely with frontend engineers to define APIs and data contracts for AI-powered user experiences
• Maintain documentation, monitoring, and best practices to support long-term system stability and scalability

What Makes You A Great Fit

• 8+ years of experience in machine learning or AI engineering, with strong hands-on exposure to LLMs and model deployment
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, cloud platforms, and modern ML frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch
• Strong experience building scalable ML pipelines, RAG systems, and orchestration workflows
• Solid understanding of data engineering concepts, including data validation, schema enforcement, and transformation pipelines
• Experience integrating AI services into backend systems and working alongside frontend frameworks such as React
• Familiarity with relational, vector, and metadata-driven databases
• Practical experience in NLP, prompt engineering, embeddings, and semantic evaluation techniques
• Awareness of AI compliance, content safety, and governance considerations
• Ability to independently execute complex projects and maintain live production systems
• Strong problem-solving mindset, ownership attitude, and ability to collaborate across engineering and product teams
