Job Description Summary

Perform the daily operations of plants to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line. Includes Service Shops. Owns/influences budgets and operating plans. The role is guided by operating policy. Works with cross functional teams. The role has autonomy within the operational area or a segment within a larger business unit. The role may have a major impact on a small business unit or Family within a Function or P&L. High levels of evaluative judgment and operational acumen are required to achieve outcomes.

Job Description

Missions:

• Management of GEAT industrial site in Batna, coordination with administrative authorities and suppliers, management of site maintenance and compliance;
• Management and coordination of gas turbine assembly activities, repair of turbine components, maintenance of aeroderivative turbines, assembly and testing of control command and telecom equipment, circuit breakers, and connectors; This in close cooperation with all involved teams: product engineering, methods, quality, production, logistics, purchasing, etc.;
• Supervision and management of supply chain teams: production, maintenance, engineering, methods, production, planning, logistics, procurement, warehouse management.
• Implementation of the EHS policy, quality policy, compliance policy.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Implement appropriate actions to ensure a working environment compliant with EHS requirements, work towards a continuous reduction of EHS risks, and ensure the maintenance of a clean, tidy, and orderly workspace.
• Ensure that the products manufactured or repaired comply with specifications and quality requirements, define and implement appropriate actions to limit non-quality risks.
• Establish the master schedule of the JV, monitor production operations, establish a work organization that serves the objective of resolving production issues such as shortages, non-quality, or machine breakdowns as quickly as possible.
• Ensure production machines are maintained, a preventive maintenance plan is established, tracked and executed; ensure the facility is also properly maintained.
• In close coordination with the leadership of the JV, develop and update the annual budget based on current capacity, planned activity, as well as the JV’s strategy and roadmap.
• As an integral part of the budget, propose an annual investment plan that serves the objectives of continuously reducing EHS risks, ensuring compliance of production activities with current regulations, maintaining the production tool in good condition and developing production capacities in accordance with the JV’s strategy and roadmap.
• Work in coordination with human resources and leadership the supply chain teams to define the level of expertise and capacity needed by each team, recrui and train accordingly.

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering in Mechanical, Production Management, or a related discipline
• Practical knowledge of production and material management processes
• Practical knowledge of gas turbines machining and assembly processes.
• Practical knowledge of Lean Manufacturing.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Rigor, autonomy.

Desired Characteristics

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in Supply Chain.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in supply chain management.
• Ability to work in a team, excellent communication.
• Excellent analytical skills, quick problem-solving, and synthesis
