SSI is seeking a Tranche 3 Technical Lead for a role in Chantilly, VA.
Role and Responsibilities: · Provide technical oversight and leadership to the Tranche 3 development, testing, integration, and operations effort. · Oversee systems engineering processes, including cost, schedule, and performance trade-offs · Support requirements management and analysis, interface management, architecture development, and test and evaluation processes. · Work with the development team to clarify requirements, provide feedback, and ensure issue identification and resolution are tracked. · Review engineering documents and participate in milestones to include, but not limited to: System Requirements Review, Preliminary Design Review, and Critical Design Review activities, and provide subject matter expertise. · Work with multiple teams and program offices supporting the coordination, development, and execution of system test plans and integration efforts to include planning, coordinating, and executing tests; deconflicting resources; analyzing test data; identifying and facilitating the resolution of issues; and documenting test results. · Perform risk management activities, including identification and assessment, and develop risk mitigation strategies. · Collaborate with other teams by actively participating in cross-functional communication to ensure that all teams integrate system requirements throughout program lifecycles. · Resolve highly complex and multi-dimensional problems requiring consideration of variables that impact multiple aspects of the project/program. · Provide technical advice/input to the customer’s leadership that lays the strategic foundation for critical, national capability, and the customer’s future initiatives. · Incorporate Joint Warfighter, Mission Partners, and internal Customers team’s feedback on product strategy and identify the best path to improve efficiencies. · Collect and analyze feedback from end-users, stakeholders, and other teams to shape integration processes. · Develop briefings, written reports, and assessments to be provided to a variety of audiences, from working level to senior executives.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, and math.
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience with satellite and ground systems.
- TS/SCI Required.
- Strong experience in the engineering of space systems.
- Experience across the entire development life cycle, from requirements and concept definition through operations.
- Experience in systems engineering.
- Understanding of modeling and simulation systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent oral and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in science, technology, engineering, and math.
- Experience with DoD and/or IC customers.
- Current experience with space systems.
