Job Responsibilities:

The Senior Manager, Social Media and Influencer Marketing for SYNERGY Kombucha is a mission aligned brand steward responsible for owning SYNERGY’s organic content strategy and influencer ecosystem across all platforms. This role focuses on strategic storytelling, social-first creative development, platform direction, and full scale influencer and ambassador management. The position shapes how SYNERGY shows up across social platforms and creator communities, ensuring the brand’s craft, benefits, values, and taste forward identity come through with clarity and cultural relevance. This individual owns SYNERGY’s content strategy across Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, Pinterest, and emerging platforms. They assist in shoots, social-first creative development, and visual storytelling, bringing lifestyle, UGC style, taste driven, and educational formats to life. They collaborate with the GT’s Social and Digital team, Brand, Creative, Paid Media, PR, Retail, and Analytics teams. They do not manage direct reports, but they mentor junior team members to strengthen creative output, strategic thinking, and platform knowledge. They lead all SYNERGY influencer and ambassador programs including sourcing, negotiations, social-first creative development, gifting, content review, performance tracking, and campaign execution. They support seasonal launches, evergreen storytelling, competitive positioning, and SYNERGY’s fermentation and craft education strategy.

  • Own SYNERGY’s organic content strategy across Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, Pinterest, and emerging platforms.
  • Assist in shoots, creative planning, shot lists, and on set direction to bring SYNERGY’s visual identity and narrative to life.
  • Concept and support development of evergreen education, fermentation storylines, taste focused content, cultural moments, and UGC style formats.
  • Maintain the SYNERGY content calendar and ensure alignment with seasonal priorities and brand goals.
  • Mentor junior team members on creative thinking, platform best practices, and content execution.
  • Lead all influencer and ambassador efforts including sourcing, negotiations, contracts, creative direction, and performance tracking.
  • Oversee gifting and PR mailers including send outs tied to seasonal campaigns and key brand moments.
  • Direct and approve creator content to ensure alignment with SYNERGY’s values, tone, and product benefits.
  • Support brand activations and creator content capture on site when needed.
  • Partner closely with Brand, Creative, Paid Media, Retail, PR, and Analytics to support integrated campaigns and launches.
  • Use insights and analytics to guide content decisions, creator selections, and campaign optimization.
  • Support planning and execution of shoots, product storytelling, and strategic opportunities across platforms.
  • Help improve workflow, content organization, and production efficiency across cross functional teams.
  • Partner regularly with Unusual (creative agency) to review social content and ensure all brand expressions remain aligned with the overarching brand platform and creative direction.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned, in support of team and business objectives.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and platforms simultaneously.
  • Proactive self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments and consistently meets deadlines with minimal oversight.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for social media, storytelling, and digital content production.
  • Comfortable creating or directing short-form video and UGC-style content, whether produced in-house or in partnership with creators.
  • Experience collaborating with influencers, ambassadors, or creator communities within wellness, lifestyle, or CPG categories.
  • Familiarity with social analytics and monitoring tools such as Brandwatch and Kale.
  • Solid understanding of social performance metrics and the ability to track, analyze, and interpret KPIs across content and campaigns.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively across creative, brand, and marketing teams.
  • Deep understanding of cultural trends, pop-culture moments, and internet humor that resonate with Gen Z.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Experience in CPG, Food & Beverage (restaurant, retail locations), and Health & Wellness.
  • Strong understanding of implementing & optimizing paid posts across all platforms.
  • Available to work flexible schedules, including nights & weekends

  • Pay Rate: $110,000.00 - $140,000.00 Salary + Bonus Eligible
