Job Overview

The Systems Administrator will plan and manage projects for the Real Estate Lending Division.  Responsibilities include making process improvements, systems changes, and regulatory and compliance changes. The Systems Administrator is responsible to work with Real Estate Lending group and IT to implement and maintain all real estate lending front end and servicing systems and third-party systems. The Administrator’s primary role is to act as real estate lending technical liaison to ensure high levels of customer service and compliance. The incumbent must ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, internal policies and procedures and established credit underwriting guidelines. The System Administrator reports directly to the Vice President of Real Estate Lending.

Responsibilities

  • Plans and implements projects that will attain revenue profitability goals as determined by the credit union’s strategic plan and annual business plan and budget.
  • Responsible for integration and implementation of Lending LOS system and Servicing system, which involves planning, testing, and coordinating system changes in coordination with IT and Real Estate Lending.
  • Ensures mortgage POS and LOS origination and servicing systems are compliant and efficient.
  • Works with digital to ensure all lending digital channels are current and up-to-date and to maximize member delivery sales opportunities.
  • Manages departmental system efficiencies and makes management recommendations for improvements in customer service, production and processes.
  • Responsible for storage and data recovery issues for the real estate division.
  • Plans and manages implementation of all new regulations and compliance requirements for the division and integrated loan systems.
  • Manages all technical requirements for real estate delivery channels for direct and wholesale lending.
  • Tests new products and services for compliance efficiency and to ensure products can be adequately serviced.
  • Develops and/or provides training to employees for system and process enhancements, in coordination with L&LD.
  • Continually work with employees to analyze workflows to improve efficiencies.
  • Resolves all technical systems delivery for loans sold through GSEs and participations.
  • Participates in vendor selection, negotiation and oversight of all issues technical in nature.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • 5+ years of mortgage related experience.
  • 10+ years of systems administrations experience. 
  • Strong background in using loan production and loan servicing systems
  • Microsoft Office
  • Encompass, FICS and/or Symitar experience preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication, organization, planning, analytical, team work, auditing, research and decision-making abilities
  • Strong grasp of mortgage regulations and compliance related issues
