• Compensation: £32,050 rising to £33,615 upon successful completion of probation

Description

Your role is key in delivering great customer service to our passengers. Based at Euston station, you will be responsible  for delivering a quality customer service through the provision of assistance and information to fulfil West Midland Trains customer expectations, whilst meeting the Company’s business, safety and operational targets. 

Key Responsibilities

• Provide real time information to all West Midland Trains staff at Euston at all times
• Maintain high standards of station cleanliness
• Maintain a secure environment
• Continually provide information through effective communication directly with our customers, utilizing display units and IT equipment (using PA) particularly during times of disruption
• Carry out train dispatch duties.

Skills, Knowledge And Expertise

• Customer focused – being polite, approachable, and friendly at all times
• Able to speak clearly and provide information in a manner that can be easily understood
• Being efficient and calm - able to communicate with people from all backgrounds
• Flexibility – able to work early and late shifts and use your own initiative on occasions
• Good IT skills – able to use a range of technologies and systems
• Honest & trustworthy – doing the right thing
• A good level of maths and English ability
