Requirements

The Technical Lead will play a dual role as a hands-on technical expert and a people leader within our Telecom product engineering organization. This position is responsible for driving end-to-end technical design, solution development, code quality, and team guidance for complex modules built on Microsoft Azure, Angular, Node.js, .NET Core, and SQL Server.

The role requires strong problem-solving abilities, a structured engineering mindset, and the capability to mentor developers while ensuring delivery excellence in a fast-paced product environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical design, architecture discussions, and solution implementation for Telecom product modules.
  • Oversee and contribute to hands-on development using Angular, Node.js, .NET Core, SQL Server, and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
  • Provide technical leadership to engineering teams, ensuring adherence to coding standards, best practices, and scalable design principles.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, QA, and cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into high-quality technical solutions.
  • Guide engineers through detailed task planning, sprint execution, and delivery tracking within an Agile environment.
  • Conduct technical reviews, troubleshoot complex issues, and provide remediation strategies.
  • Ensure performance optimization, security compliance, and maintainability for all developed components.
  • Support release management, environment readiness, and integration testing activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to code quality, development processes, and engineering productivity.
  • Provide mentoring, coaching, and support in capability building for team members.

Technical Skills Required

  • Expertise on Microsoft Azure services in deploying and managing web applications
  • Strong expertise in Angular (v10+), including component-based architecture and advanced UI development.
  • Hands-on experience in Node.js for backend microservices, API development, and service orchestration.
  • Proficiency in .NET Core for enterprise-grade service development and system integration.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL Server , database design, query tuning, and performance optimization.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines, repository management, and release automation.
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices architectures, and cloud-based deployment patterns.

Preferred Skills

  • Exposure to People Management practices, team mentorship, Client interaction and performance guidance.
  • Experience in Code Review frameworks and enforcement of coding standards.
  • Familiarity with SonarQube for code quality analysis and technical debt reduction.
  • Knowledge of Unit Testing frameworks such as Jasmine, xUnit, or NUnit.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • 8–10 years of professional experience in software engineering with at least 3+ years in a senior or lead role.
  • Proven track record of contributing to or leading large-scale Telecom or enterprise product development initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure software solutions in Agile delivery setups.
