Overview

Lead the strategic development and execution of marketing initiatives for MUFG Corporate Markets across the APAC region with specific focus on Australia and New Zealand, driving brand visibility, client engagement, and commercial growth. This role will focus on product and service-led marketing, event management, digital and paid campaigns, and content strategy, ensuring alignment with global objectives and the unique needs of the APAC markets.
  Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities Strategic Focus 
  • Help develop and execute the annual marketing plan for Corporate Markets Australia, aligned with global and APAC regional strategy. 
  • Co-lead product and service-led marketing initiatives, ensuring campaigns are tailored to drive awareness, adoption, and revenue growth. 
  • Collaborate with global and regional teams to ensure consistency and share best practices.
  • Plan, manage, and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, social, events, and content-driven initiatives. 
  • Oversee the integration of marketing platforms (e.g., Salesforce) to enable data-driven marketing and campaign analytics. 
  • Awareness of the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources for maximum impact. 
  • Lead the creation of client-facing materials with internal stakeholders, including presentations, case studies, whitepapers, and newsletters. 
  • Ensure adherence to brand guidelines and governance standards. 
  • Support lead generation and nurture activities, working closely with Business Development and Relationship Management teams. 
  • Oversee the measurement and reporting of marketing effectiveness, providing regular insights to leadership. 
  • Building and cultivating collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders and within your own team. This includes business development teams, market-ing, brand, creative, compliance and other relevant teams across the business to ensure the effective and integrated delivery of the programs. 
  • The APAC Corporate Markets Marketing team will grow over time, and this role will become responsible for managing the team. 
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures and external regulations (e.g., legal, financial, data privacy). 
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all marketing activities.
Operational Management  People Leadership  Governance & Risk  Experience & Personal Attributes Essential: 
  • 7–10+ years in B2B marketing, ideally in financial services, fintech, SaaS, or other complex industries. 
  • Proven track record in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns. 
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, lead generation, and campaign analytics. 
  • Experience with product-led marketing. 
  • Experience with marketing technology platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Marketing Cloud). 
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. 
  • Proven track record in building a team and overall function from the ground up. 
  • Strong project management and organisational abilities. 
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams. 
  • Experience in product repositioning and brand management. 
  • Familiarity with the Australian financial services landscape. 
  • Experience working in a global or matrixed organisation. 
  • Design background or ability to use Adobe Creative Cloud competently. 
  • Provides clear direction and instils trust.
