Reporting to the Associate Marketing Director, the Marketing Coordinator will play a pivotal role in supporting the BD Interventional (BDI) business through key marketing processes.
This entry-level position is ideal for someone eager to start their marketing career in a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will develop essential skills in marketing execution, communication, and business operations—building a strong foundation for professional growth.
The Marketing Coordinator will be highly collaborative, working closely with the sales team, marketing team, and shared services business partners. Success in this role requires a strong customer focus, keen attention to detail, and a flexible, proactive approach. You will be onsite in our offices in Mississauga Monday to Thursday, and work from home on Fridays.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Collateral Management
- Manage translation, copy approval, printing, and updates within relevant systems.
- Translation, copy approval, printing, and updates/maintenance of marketing and sales content.
- Manage regional marketing content and collateral approval workflows.
- Coordinate marketing spend invoices and track against budget.
- Manage and oversee the content management system.
Event Coordination
- Maintenance of national conference calendar.
- Coordinate logistics for conferences, including inventory and supply management.
- Assist with tradeshow planning and execution.
- Support webinar communications and logistics.
- Organize logistics for events, advisory boards, and other customer-facing activities.
General Duties
- Provide administrative support to the Marketing team.
- Sample coordination as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- At least 1-year professional experience working with Adobe Creative Suite.
Knowledge & Skills Required:
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; a true team player.
- High drive for results and a proactive, ambitious mindset.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in science or business-related field.
- Prior experience supporting Marketing an asset.
- Experience with digital marketing.
- Working knowledge with SAP, JD Edwards (JDE), and Salesforce.com.
- Bilingual French and English (read, write, speak) an asset.
