Business Analyst - Serialization Business Analyst: Master Data Configuration & Testing

This is a remote position.

KATBOTZ is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst – Serialization with strong expertise in Master Data configuration, validation, and testing within serialization programs. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business, compliance, and IT teams to ensure accurate serialization master data setup, regulatory compliance, and successful system delivery in regulated supply chain environments.

Purpose

Master Data Configuration Team Members are responsible for the accurate configuration, maintenance, and management of serialization master data for Pfizer SKUs across global markets. They ensure that serialization systems (SAP ATTP, PTTS, ICH) are properly updated and compliant with regulatory requirements, supporting both ongoing operations and new product launches.

Key Accountabilities

• Ensure integrity and accuracy of serialization master data in all relevant systems.
• Support configuration requests, master data updates, and new SKU launches in line with global mandates.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather required data and implement configuration changes.
• Maintain compliance with Pfizer’s internal standards and country-specific regulatory requirements.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and support business continuity through proactive risk management.

Position Requirements

• Experience with serialization systems (SAP ATTP, PTTS, ICH).
• Strong understanding of master data management principles and processes.
• Ability to interpret and implement regulatory requirements for serialization and track & trace.
• Analytical skills for data validation, issue investigation, and process optimization.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.

Preferred

• Familiarity with pharmaceutical supply chain operations and global serialization mandates.
• Experience with automation of data connections and dashboard/reporting tools (e.g., Tableau).
• Background in IT, engineering, or life sciences.

Top 3 Primary Tasks (Daily or Regular)

• Execute and Maintain Serialization Master Data Updates : Receive, review, and implement master data changes and configuration requests for Pfizer SKUs in serialization systems.
• Support New Product Launches and Mandate Implementations: Gather required data, configure new SKUs, and ensure systems are updated for new launches and regulatory changes.
• ​ Collaborate and Troubleshoot Data Issues: Work with cross-functional teams to resolve master data issues, conduct root cause analysis, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
