Logitech G is looking for a passionate and highly collaborative Lead/Principal Industrial Designer to join our team in Hsinchu, Taiwan. Our new Lead/Principal Industrial Designer must have an outstanding design portfolio and extensive experience in Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, and User Experience.

• Be part of an eclectic mix of great designers and craftspeople in an international environment.
• Be hands-on, creating high quality Design vision work and concepts through sketches, illustrations and renderings.
• Create precise 3D CAD designs, prototypes and mockups.
• Contribute to all stages of the design process, spanning conceptual ideation, strategic planning, and tactical execution.
• Collaborate daily with other designers, engineers and partners.
• Lead projects and coordinate activities of other designers as required by the project/projects.
• Communicate proactively and effectively across multiple levels within design & business stakeholders.
• Communicate ideas and design intents with clarity through decks, images and videos.
• Influence and inspire our business and product partners and leaders.
• Network with management and key contacts in and outside of your own area of expertise, acting as a spokesperson on major matters pertaining to Design policies, plans, and objectives.
• Occasionally travel nationally and internationally.
• Key Qualifications:
• For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and experiences to our team:
• He/she is a passionate design thinker and craftsperson.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in Industrial Design or Mechanical Product Design Engineering.
• Compelling portfolio of design work that proves solid design skills and demonstrates forward thinking.
• Excellent skills in ideation, concept visualization, form development, CAD, model making, and rapid prototyping
• Strong visual acuity and formal literacy.
• Experience defining Materials, Colors and Finishes, optimizing Design for Manufacturing, Reviewing Prototypes, EVT, and DVT builds.
• Enjoys an autonomous working style but is also highly collaborative.
• Humble, coachable, and committed to continuous learning from peers and leadership.
• Has a BS in Industrial Design/Product Design/Mechanical Engineering or a related degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience.
• As a plus, knows Gaming and is actively engaged in Gaming culture.
