Job Description
AECOM is actively seeking a Federal Contract Administrator with a primary focus of the position to work on USPS contracts. This position offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement to include a combination of office and remote schedule, and can be based in, but not limited to: Denver, CO
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Reviews bids, and proposals that meet specifications and comply with all policies and regulations with oversight from leadership
- Analyzes agreement documents and supporting materials related to bids or contracts. Provides guidance and recommendations on discrepancies and concerns.
- Reviews contract terms to identify any potential risk or compliance issues
- Supports contract reviews by preparing reports related to contract spending and progress, conducting compliance reviews, and ensuring corrective actions are completed in a timely manner
- Follows standardized instructions or procedures and works under direct supervision assisting more senior Contract Administrators.
- Work is checked for accuracy, adequacy, and adherence to instructions.
- Ensure FBS required documents are completed to include but not limited to Proposal Checklist, Contract Reviews, etc...
- Input contract and task order information into the Federal Business Services database
- Upload contract and task order documents to the Federal Business Services folder structure
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree + 2 years of Contracts Administration experience or a demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two (2) years or more experience in Federal Contract Administration
- Familiarity with Engineering projects and Federal programs
- Participation in National Contract Management Association (NCMA), with interest in CFCM or CPCM certifications
- Working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, other FAR supplements, as well as the Uniform Commercial Code with the ability to independently research regulatory issues, understand their application and consequences to our business
- Working knowledge of SharePoint 2016+/O365 SharePoint Online, and Salesforce
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Team Player attitude, including acting as both as a formal and informal mentor to junior contracts managers on contracts and advocating for AECOM’s Federal Business Services (FBS) support when working with internal clients.
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and business management skills.
- Self-starter with a “can-do” attitude that will thrive in a management structure where high standards of productivity, quality of work, and effectiveness are maintained
