Job Description
Position Overview:
Person will be responsible for identifying, developing, and implementing software solutions. This will include working with process owners to identify continuous improvement opportunities and develop software solutions to support process effectiveness and efficiencies. Individual will also be accountable for managing projects and software throughout their respective lifecycles.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Implement new and enhance existing functionality including articulating requirements and translating them to effective solutions in SAP and related applications.
- Proven process knowledge for the end-to-end Order to Cash Business process which includes: Order Management, Logistics, Billing, Revenue, Inter-Company, Pricing
- Perform “hands-on” configuration /system changes to meet business requirements ensuring solution aligns with standard “out of the box” SAP functionality.
- Ensure solution design on SAP platform integrates well with the integrated systems and coordinate changes accordingly with larger IT team.
- Work with stakeholders including Managers/Directors to define business systems requirements for new technology implementations.
- Collaborate with teams to design applications solving business issues, leading design for the team.
- Use judgment and discretion to solve complex business issues. Mentor team members to meet goals.
- Work closely with analysts, users, and IT to support operations and manage changes in business.
- Manage cross-functional meetings as part of requirements gathering, driving projects or providing status updates on various projects.
- Facilitate change management and transition to future state working with various stakeholders.
- Examine impact of changes to the corporate application landscape
- Identify, and participate in prioritization of business capabilities and act as a catalyst for building mature processes.
- Navigate through ISI’s Project Management Methodology and standards to deliver business needs in an agile manner.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience
- 5-8 years of experience in supporting Order Management and Customer Service Business Functions.
- Experienced and knowledge of the following SAP Modules: SD, along with cross functional integration with FI and MM.
- In-depth knowledge of standard SAP sales, pricing, shipping, availability check, advance ATP, billing, returns.
- Experience with SAP S4 HANA platform preferred.
- Experience with cross functional areas like intercompany, revenue recognition, BRIM, GTS is a plus.
- Ability to interact and influence variety of users and senior management.
- Experience with deep understanding of IT Applications and Technology
- Exceptional problem solving and data capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Very exceptional collaboration, negotiation, and influence capability required
Required Education and Training
- Bachelor's or undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience
Working Conditions
- On-site in Bangalore, India, 3 days per week.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Supporting users in a medical device company desirable
- Possess a proven business and customer/client focus.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage projects autonomously.
- Ability to work directly with and manage consultants.
