Role Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Residential Property Manager to join our Inverness Estate Management team. You’ll be responsible for undertaking management of residential property across various separate ownerships.
You’ll be based out of our Inverness office, and your focus will be in the following areas
- Competent at using the relevant property management software and assisting with other estate administrator duties as required including payment of contractors invoices in conjunction with the client accounts team.
- Demonstrate the main elements of property management including:
- annual property inspections and associated reporting
- assisting in managing and arranging repair schedules.
- arranging contractors to undertake repair/ minor refurbishment works
- working with compliance co-ordinator to keep all statutory, Health & Safety and best practice inspections and work up to date within properties
- Liaising with other Savills departments, local authorities and utility providers
• Demonstrate the ability to assist in the management of tenancies, licences and let property to include:
- Letting properties including marketing, selecting prospective tenants, progressing tenant referencing and lease documentation with the tenancy progression team.
- carrying out tenancy check ins and out.
- undertaking rent reviews.
- management of rent arrears and debtors.
- Demonstrate your ability to assist with preparation of client reports, preparing and managing budgets & cashflows as well as attending client meetings as required
- Identify new business opportunities to expand property and lettings management
- Show your willingness to engage with ARLA and/or AssocRICS to develop yourself.
