Your Role
You will provide design and CAD support across a variety of marine fire suppression projects, working closely with project managers and clients.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Producing a wide range of drawings and documents, including pipework schematics, P&IDs, equipment datasheets, and pipework hydraulic and flow calculations
- Developing designs in line with client specifications and the latest marine (SOLAS) regulations
- Interpreting technical specifications, approval authority rules, and regulations
- Supporting project managers with design deliverables
- Using AutoCAD (2D) and, ideally, hydraulic calculation packages
- Applying a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
Requirement
- HNC/HND or Degree in Engineering (or equivalent background)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D); hydraulic calculation experience is an advantage
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Based in our Manchester office (Onsite role)
- Full security clearance required
