Manufacturing Engineer

Manufacturing Engineer
Workplace: 418 32, GöteborgWhat To Expect:
- Lead industrialization projects, including planning, design, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Coordinate equipment installation, commissioning, issue‑list follow‑up, and handover to end users.
- Secure all manufacturing and industrialization deliveries to car programs and report status to Program Managers and Gateways/Milestones.
- Manage stakeholders, suppliers, and line builders; collaborate globally to align and improve production solutions.
- Perform root‑cause analysis, propose solutions, escalate when needed, and remove manufacturing obstacles.
- Develop and validate lean, robust, ergonomic products and process solutions; ensure process flow and alignment with Vision layout.
- Provide product and process feedback to R&D to meet targets for quality, assembly time, cost, flexibility, environment, and changeover.
- Support sourcing processes and equipment projects; contribute to lessons learned, best‑practice sharing, and team coaching.
What You Bring Along:
- Manufacturing engineering experience leading installation and commissioning projects.
- Strong knowledge of production processes, product development, and automated assembly.
- Competence in Lean Production, Lean Process Design, 6 Sigma, DMAIC, and geometric assurance.
- Experience with electric drive unit processes (rotor, stator, inverter) and assembly.
- Understanding of Teamcenter and concept/process development at station/line level.
- Strong communication skills; fluent in English (and Swedish or Slovak where required).
- Ability to work in multinational teams; proactive, analytical, and solution‑oriented mindset.
- Strong troubleshooting ability, curiosity for new technologies, and solid engineering data reporting skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in production, engineering, or a related field.
