Logan Property Management (“LPM”) is assigning a Temporary Maintenance Supervisor to support maintenance operations at Stella @ Towngate, a Class A apartment community located at 12845 Frederick St, Moreno Valley, CA 92553.
This role is a temporary, non-exempt W-2 assignment intended to provide interim operational and supervisory coverage during a defined business need. The assignment is time-limited and does not guarantee continued employment beyond the anticipated assignment period.

Responsibilities:

Maintenance Operations

  • Oversee and coordinate routine maintenance, repairs, and preventive maintenance activities.
  • Ensure work is completed in a timely manner and in compliance with company standards.
  • Provide daily supervision and work direction to maintenance staff.
  • Reinforce workplace safety practices and compliance with company policies.
  • Monitor and respond to maintenance service requests, prioritizing urgent and safety-related matters.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion and documentation of work orders.
  • Conduct regular inspections of units, buildings, grounds, and systems.
  • Identify maintenance needs and report or address issues promptly.
  • Coordinate with approved vendors and contractors for specialized repairs.
  • Monitor quality of work and adherence to scope during the assignment.
  • Monitor supplies, tools, and equipment to support daily operations.
  • Support compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations, including safety and housing standards.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and respond to after-hours emergencies as required.
  • Maintain accurate records related to maintenance activities, inspections, and vendor services.
  • Provide professional customer service and address resident maintenance concerns respectfully.

Qualifications:

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of property maintenance experience.
  • At least 2 years in a supervisory or lead maintenance capacity preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Trade training or certifications in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or related fields preferred.
  • Knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and safety standards.
  • Ability to use maintenance tracking systems and basic computer applications.
  • Ability to provide clear direction, communicate professionally, and work collaboratively.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, stand and walk for extended periods, and work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • EPA Certification (refrigerant handling)
  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO)
  • Other relevant trade certifications

Working Conditions:

  • Work Location: Onsite at Stella @ Towngate, 12845 Frederick St, Moreno Valley, CA 92553
  • Schedule: Full-time; generally 8 hours per day
  • Overtime Eligibility: Yes, in accordance with California law
  • Physical Effort: Standing, walking, lifting, and exposure to outdoor conditions
 Wage & Hour Compliance: This position is non-exempt. All hours worked must be accurately recorded. Overtime will be paid in accordance with California wage and hour laws.Meal & Rest Periods: Employee will be provided meal and rest periods in compliance with California law.Temporary Assignment: This position is temporary and anticipated to last approximately three (3) months. The assignment may be shortened or extended based on business needs and does not guarantee future or permanent employment.
