Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee facility operations, maintenance programs, and asset lifecycle planning.
  • Develop preventive maintenance schedules and asset replacement strategies.
  • Maintain asset inventories, condition assessments, and accurate documentation.
  • Lead prioritization and execution of maintenance and capital projects.
  • Manage budgets for maintenance, capital upgrades, and infrastructure investments.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, building codes, and regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate renovations, upgrades, and new development with contractors and internal teams.
  • Support Enterprise Risk Management and business continuity planning.
  • Prepare reports on asset performance and capital project outcomes.
  • Foster a client-centered, service-oriented culture within facilities support.

What We’Re Looking For:

  • Post-secondary education in Engineering, Building Sciences, Construction Management, or a Journeyperson certification in a relevant trade (e.g. electrician, plumber, carpenter, HVAC).
  • 7–10 years of experience in asset, facility, or property management (healthcare or multi-site preferred).
  • Strong project management skills with experience leading capital projects.
  • Leadership experience with technical or skilled trades teams.
  • Knowledge of building systems, codes, and OH&S requirements.
  • Budget management and contractor/vendor oversight experience.
  • Proficiency with asset management and maintenance software.
  • Valid driver’s license; ability to travel.
  • Satisfactory criminal record check.
