Event Operations Coordinator

Key Responsibilties

• Set up and pack down bar areas for events
• Complete stock takes before and after shifts where requested
• Prepare, restock, and maintain a clean, compliant bar
• Lead and manage additional bar staff during bigger events
• Serve customers and deliver friendly, efficient service
• Operate Point of Sale and handle payments accurately
• Monitor RSA compliance and responsible service at all times
• Keep bar areas tidy, organised, and guest-ready throughout the event
• Troubleshoot on the fly and keep things moving during peak periods
• Address any guest concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment during events.

Administration Support:

• Assist in maintaining event documentation, checklists, and reports.
• Help with pre-event preparations, including guest lists, run sheets, equipment and stock maintenance.
• Maintain clear communication with event stakeholders and assist with any queries or follow-ups.

Customer Excellence

• Ensure guests are welcomed and assisted as needed during the event.
• Address any guest concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment during events.

Experience & Qualifications

• Current RSA (essential)
• First Aid & CPR (preferred)
• Previous bar or event experience
• Confidence running a shift and directing others
• Strong customer service skills
• Calm, organised, and reliable under pressure
• Ability to work outdoors and adapt to various weather conditions.
• Minimum of 1-year prior experience managing a bar area or similar event experience.

• Casual shifts
• Award: Amusement, events & Recreation Grade 4
