Your opportunity

We have a great opportunity for two Facilities Coordinators to join our teams at Westfield Plenty Valley and Westfield Airport West.

Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you’ll support the day-to-day operations of the centre with a strong focus on maintaining high standards across all facilities. You’ll play an important role in ensuring a safe, functional and well-presented environment for our retailers, while delivering a consistently positive experience for our customers.

Day-to-day you will be responsible for:

  • Responding to reactive maintenance issues and completing onsite investigations.
  • Supporting high-quality hard and soft service delivery across the centre.
  • Managing the CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System) to prioritise, track and close out work orders.
  • Conducting inspections and safety checks, and supporting maintenance, repairs and capital works.
  • Communicating with retailers, contractors and internal teams to coordinate work and resolve issues.
  • Building strong relationships with service providers to ensure timely and compliant service delivery.
  • Supporting environmental, sustainability and operational initiatives through accurate reporting.
  • Assisting with emergencies or incidents and following agreed incident management processes.

These roles are offered as full-time, permanent positions based onsite at either Westfield Plenty Valley or Westfield Airport West.

What sets you apart

You’re proactive, hands-on and solutions-focused, with strong communication skills and attention to detail. You’re confident coordinating contractors and managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Experience in facilities, property, retail, hospitality or building operations is beneficial – we also welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds who are keen to develop their technical capability in the facilities space.

You will be:

  • Proactive – identifying potential issues early and taking action before they escalate.
  • An effective communicator – engaging clearly, professionally and collaboratively with tenants, contractors, visitors and internal teams.
  • Detail-oriented – maintaining high standards of safety, presentation and accuracy across schedules, budgets and workflows.
  • Organised and reliable – able to manage multiple priorities while keeping the centre operating smoothly.
  • Technically capable and solution-focused – confident in troubleshooting issues across building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) and finding practical solutions in the moment.
  • Flexible to work the occasional weekend day shift and occasional Thursday and Friday late-night shift (with time in lieu).
