Portfolio Manager

What’s the role? 

This role will lead our Regional & Agribusiness Portfolio Management team located throughout Australia. You will work actively with the Regional and Agribusiness distribution leaders to manage high-value, complex connections and new to bank across bilateral and club deal transactions. You will apply commercial and risk management principles and set risk appetite to support growth and the retention of the existing customer base. 

 

What do I need? 

• Extensive banking experience in agribusiness sectors including Broadacre Cropping, Animals and Livestock, Wine and Horticulture
• Demonstrated expertise in funding structures and security (pre and post farmgate) with strong linkage to primary production, including inputs, commodity processing and trading
• Deep product knowledge relevant to the agribusiness segment, including structured trade and working capital
• Proven track record in managing complex portfolios and developing a risk culture
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement and leadership skills with demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams
• Strong commercial acumen and analytical capability.
