Job Summary:
The AI Engineer (P3) designs, builds, and deploys scalable, production-grade software solutions using advanced AI tools and modern engineering practices. This role accelerates software delivery, ensures enterprise-level security and reliability, and fosters engineering excellence through enablement and knowledge sharing.
Key Responsibilities
Software Engineering & Delivery
Design, develop, and deploy AI-native software solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.
Deliver features end-to-end within 1-week sprint cycles as part of high-performing micro squads.
Apply DevOps and SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) best practices for continuous integration and deployment.
AI-Driven Development
Leverage AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) as a core part of the daily workflow.
Craft effective prompts, validate AI-generated code, and apply critical thinking to AI limitations and human-in-the-loop processes.
Stay updated on advanced AI engineering concepts (e.g., agents, multi-component pipelines (MCPs), Claude Skills).
Enablement & Upliftment
Participate in AI enablement initiatives, including workshops, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing forums.
Mentor and support peers to elevate AI maturity across the engineering organization.
Share reusable enablement materials and best practices.
Responsible AI & Compliance
Promote responsible AI practices, including safety, ethics, bias mitigation, explainability, and governance.
Ensure compliance with enterprise security and regulatory requirements.
Continuous Improvement
Drive metrics-driven development and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence engineering practices and tooling decisions.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 3 years of professional software engineering experience.
Hands-on experience with AI coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, ChatGPT/Claude).
Proven track record of delivering production-ready systems, including deployment, monitoring, and optimization. Experience with agile methodologies and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Full-stack engineering capability.
Technical Proof Points (at least one required):
Recent AI tool work in a public or private GitHub repository.
Technical blog post about AI-assisted development.
Portfolio demonstrating AI-augmented engineering projects.
Contributions to open-source projects.
Preferred Qualifications
Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Experience in enablement or training programs.
Active technical blog or speaking engagements.
Experience with design patterns and architectural decisions.
Metrics-driven achievements (e.g., “Reduced deployment time by 60%”).
