About the role
We’re currently seeking a motivated Paralegal to join our Legal team on a 4–5 day per week basis. In this role, you’ll provide high level administrative, research and transactional support, including preparing and reviewing contracts and managing the internal execution process for a variety of legal documents. With QIC’s diverse investment portfolio, every day will bring something new. You’ll gain exposure to a broad range of matters and play a key role in supporting the team across multiple projects.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Drafting, reviewing, amending and formatting a variety of legal documents including NDAs, consultancy agreements and other contracts.
- Coordinating the internal execution process for legal documentation.
- Responding to enquiries and gathering information to support the preparation of written responses.
- Assisting with the creation, maintenance and administration of systems and processes.
- Providing research, transactional and administrative support to the Legal team.
- Overseeing document and email management, filing and general administrative tasks.
- Contributing to a positive team culture and supporting colleagues where needed.
- Managing the filing system and meeting archiving requirements.
About you
You are someone who delivers professional and efficient quality work, brings attention to detail and has confidence working with a range of stakeholders. You’re quick to identify issues, proactive in finding solutions and eager to continue developing your expertise.
You will likely have:
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proven research abilities and experience compiling information to develop reports, responses or presentations.
- High quality written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- A curious, adaptable mindset and a genuine desire to learn.
- Experience using the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Current studies or completed qualifications in Law preferred.
- Previous corporate office experience preferred.
