Join our affiliate TotalEnergies Petrochemicals & Refining Belgium based in Feluy !As an Extrusion Process & Quality Engineer, your main responsibilities will include:
In the frame of the achievement of our reliability objectives:
- Monitor the operation of the PP extruders (4 extruders), identify the causes of unreliability, edit a monthly report on the reliability of the extruders
- Identify areas for improvement; propose optimizations
- Develop and assist in the implementation of an advanced process control for extruders
As part of the reduction of our out-of-specification (off grades) products:
- Develop and assist in the installation of on-line viscosity analyzers on extruders; develop and improve associated models
- Help set up a recycling project for out-of-specification products by mixing; define mixing rules
Candidate Profile
Education:
- Process Engineering degree
Technical Skills required:
- Knowledge in Thermodynamics
- Knowledge in Polymers
- Knowledge in PFD and P&ID (Process Flow Diagram and Piping & Instrumentation Diagram)
- Knowledge in Process Design Package (PDP) realization
- Knowledge in Energy
IT Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of ASPEN+ and/or Power BI would be a plus
Languages:
- English: B2 level
- French: C1 level
