The Opportunity

McInnes Wilson Lawyers is on the lookout for a high-caliber experienced Property Paralegal to join their Real Estate & Projects team based in Brisbane.

Located a stone’s throw from the bustling Riverside precinct, you will assist with large scale residential developments, and residential sale and purchase matters. As an important member of the team, you'll have the opportunity to work on exciting and high-profile matters and work directly with a Principal.

Key Responsibilities

  • Day to day management of residential conveyancing matters (including “off the plan” transactions) with supervision from Principal and senior lawyers;
  • Liaising with clients, developers and agents as well as financiers;
  • A-Z file management of conveyancing matters, acting for developers, buyers and sellers
  • All forms of client correspondence;
  • Liaising with clients, both internal and external and service providers

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a conveyancing paralegal role or similar;
  • PEXA experience;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • A high level of motivation and enthusiasm;
  • A high level of focus and attention to detail;
  • A team player attitude; and
  • Strong organisation skills, together with the capacity to manage conflicting priorities simultaneously.
