About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Salesforce QA Engineer to join our team. The QA Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our Salesforce solutions. This role will work closely with Salesforce developers, admins, business analysts, and stakeholders to validate functionality, identify issues, and ensure that releases meet business and technical requirements.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Salesforce applications, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and custom applications.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing of Salesforce solutions.
Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
Validate Salesforce configuration, customization, workflows, triggers, APIs, Lightning components, and integrations.
Log, track, and prioritize defects using project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar).
Participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) cycles and support business users during testing.
Ensure adherence to QA standards and best practices for Salesforce testing.
Support continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines with automated testing when applicable.
Provide feedback on application usability, scalability, and performance.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in software testing with at least 2+ years in Salesforce QA roles.
Strong understanding of Salesforce ecosystem (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Lightning, Apex, Flows, Integrations).
Hands-on experience with test case management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr, or similar).
Familiarity with automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Provar, Copado, or similar) is a plus.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
Salesforce QA or testing-related certifications (preferred but not required).
Nice to Have
Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI).
Familiarity with DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, Copado).
Knowledge of data validation using SOQL queries.
Exposure to testing in highly regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, finance) with compliance requirements.
