Why we are different

Honey is Australia’s first smart home insurance for the modern-day homeowner, renter, or landlord, and we’re on a mission to eliminate the majority of avoidable accidents that happen in the home. We do this through a re-imagined approach to home insurance that lets customers easily sign up with the right level of cover by using satellite and third-party data, and then providing smart home technology to help protect their homes. We like to do things a bit differently, you’ll notice this from the very first time you meet with one of our talented team, right through to your first day at Honey. We challenge expectations, are always looking to make a difference, questioning what we’re doing and asking if there’s a better way.

The low down

As Senior UX Content Writer, Design & Quality, you’ll be part of our forward-thinking and passionate Operations team, collaborating closely with product designers and product managers as well as our risk and compliance team, to craft exceptional and compliant product experiences.

You’ll focus on creating clear, concise, and user-centric copy that simplifies complex insurance processes and enhances customer understanding across various touchpoints. Examples of what you will work on: user experiences and journeys (like sign-up and quote flows), email journeys, insurance documents, websites, and copy that drives user task completion.

Please note: this is a content design and UX writing role, not a marketing role.

By blending your UX writing skills with a keen eye for detail, you’ll help us create exceptional user experiences that drive customer satisfaction, understanding, and task completion, and align with our business goals.

  • Conduct thorough reviews and QA of customer-facing content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and compliance with brand guidelines and industry regulations.
