POSITION PURPOSE

The Seasonal Manufacturing Technician performs various manufacturing functions to ensure product orders are accurately fulfilled. This is bilingual position assembles, inspects, and packages quality products efficiently and safely according to the production schedule.

 

POSITION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Functions

1. Prepare materials for assembly.
2. Process orders according to work ticket instructions.
3. Process raw material according to order specifications.
4. Test and inspect finished products for quality and adherence to order specifications.
5. Obtain the Department Team Leader’s quality inspection and written approval.
6. Appropriately package and seal products.
7. Load the packaged products and materials onto delivery trucks; unload materials received.
8. Start up, operate, and shut down processing equipment and machinery.
9. Maintain a clean and organized work station

Secondary Functions

1. Assist the Department Team Leader in tracking and maintaining inventory.
2. Notify the Department Team Leader of problems with equipment, devices, or products.
3. Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the following education and/or experience.

1. High school diploma or GED is required.
2. Bilingual and previous manufacturing experience is preferred.
