ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Responsible for budget creation on new RFPs
  • Responsible for rolling forward client budgets annually, calculating renewals & periodically review CPI based on the site assignment listing
  • Collaborate with the Business Development Team to ensure they have the analysis for client communication.
  • Responsible for corporate budgets by department
  • Responsible for making recommendations on client budget changes and analyze profitability on new budget requests in the RFP process based on your site assignments
  • Responsible for contract reconciliation analysis on your sites prior to budget renewals
  • Review quarterly ADP reconciliations, over hours reporting, RX/Med supply costs, & and monthly pools/caps for reasonableness 
  • Make recommendations for budget changes based on analysis
  • Miscellaneous projects or reports as required by management
  • Review month end financial performance including actuals vs budget on department fixed expenses and make necessary adjustments for month end close 
  • Issue monthly department fixed expense reports and work with managers on corrections
  • Assist the accounting team with semi-annual and annual budgets maintenance
  • Any and all other duties as assigned

TRAINING EXPECTATIONS:

Associates in this role are expected, as a condition of employment, to complete all training assigned within a reasonable time period, generally within less than 15 days.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBLITY:

This is not a supervisory position. This position does not have the authority to hire, fire, discipline, discharge, assign overtime, and/or direct and assign work, with the ability to effectively recommend any of these actions. This role also serves as a coach and mentor for other employees.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. This is not a hybrid, telecommute or remote role. This role is 100% in-office.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand, as necessary.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

TRAVEL:

This position rarely requires travel.

Qualifications


REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s degree with 3-7 years of experience in a related field preferred
  • Additional equivalent experience may substitute for a degree (7-10 years in field applying for)
  • Advanced Microsoft Office and email skills with expert level experience in Excel
  • Great attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with initiative
  • Highly organized
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; hands-on training
