Job Description
The Brand Copywriter is responsible for crafting clear, consistent and compelling written content that brings the Sea to Summit brand voice to life across all consumers, internal and trade touchpoints. This role ensures our brand tone is distinctive, inspiring, consistently aligned with our purpose, and reflects the spirit of adventure that defines Sea to Summit.
Responsibilities
- Create high-quality written content for website, product pages, blogs, emails, social media, PR materials and campaign storytelling.
- Creation of product content, utilising cross-functional product expertise – descriptions, feature callouts, packaging copy and selling tools. Turning technical features and benefits into compelling, clear and ownable Consumer benefits.
- Partner with the Brand Content Manager to translate content calendars into compelling messaging and narratives.
- Edit, refine and proofread content to ensure consistency, clarity and accuracy across all touchpoints.
- Adapt messaging for global regions while maintaining the core brand voice.
- Support with internal written documents when required – e.g board presentations.
- Uphold brand guidelines, content standards and minimalism principles across all writing.
Qualifications
Skill & Experience
- Relevant degree or formal training in Communications, Creative Writing, Journalism, Marketing or similar (preferred).
- Proven experience writing for a brand, agency or content-driven organisation.
- A demonstrable portfolio showcasing a range of work across digital, social, campaign, and product content.
- Experience writing for consumer goods, lifestyle or outdoor brands (preferred).
- Experience collaborating closely with creative and marketing teams.
- High level of creativity, with a strong sense of brand voice and storytelling.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Attentive listening and empathy, enabling thoughtful and audience-focused copy.
- Adaptability and comfort working across multiple channels and formats.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Strong ability to translate briefs into clear, inspiring written outputs.
