Position: Commercial Finance Manager
Location: Stockholm (Hybrid)
About the Position
As Commercial Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role within the Market Finance team, partnering closely with the Nordics Country Manager and senior commercial leaders to drive strong financial and market performance.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, Northern Europe, this role blends short-term execution with mid- and long-term strategic influence. You will provide financial insight, shape robust commercial strategies, and support action planning to deliver against our mission targets and overall market unit strategy.
Your focus will span 30% short term (next quarter), 50% mid term (up to 12 months), and 20% long term (beyond one year) — making this an ideal opportunity for a commercially driven finance professional who enjoys both partnering and forward-looking strategy.
The role is hybrid, based in Stockholm.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Commercial Business Partnering
- Partner with the Country Manager and Commercial Director to deliver the annual operating plan for a key Northern Europe market.
- Provide financial guidance, challenge, and stewardship to support revenue growth and value creation.
Forecasting, Planning & S&OP
- Own the financial forecast within the S&OP cycle, translating volume forecasts into full P&L impact.
- Enable informed trade-offs and actions through clear financial modelling and scenario analysis.
Scenario Planning & Risk Management
- Lead scenario planning to support strategic decision-making.
- Identify key risks and opportunities, working with the business to mitigate or unlock value.
Customer & Negotiation Finance Ownership
- Own the financial components of all customer-facing negotiations.
- Act as the first point of contact in Finance for internal and external business partners within your market.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Sales and Marketing to develop and implement actionable financial strategies and growth initiatives.
- Work across Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain to ensure plans are aligned, realistic, and data-driven.
Insight & Influence
- Translate complex financial insights into clear, commercially relevant messages for non-financial stakeholders.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior management, influencing decisions that shape the commercial direction of the Nordics region.
What Does It Take to Be Successful?
We’re looking for a commercially sharp, proactive finance professional with strong business partnering capability and a passion for driving growth. You should have:
- 5+ years’ experience in Commercial Finance, ideally within FMCG, with strong retail and commercial acumen.
- Proven experience connecting Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain plans, acting as both connector and steward of the business.
- Strong capability using data and systems such as SAP and Power BI to generate insight and drive decisions.
- Fluency in Swedish and English (written and spoken).
- A strong balance of attention to detail and commercial drive.
- Confidence working to regional deadlines while supporting ambitious growth plans.
What’s Next?
If you’re excited by the opportunity to shape commercial outcomes, influence strategy, and play a key role in the financial performance of the Nordics region, we’d love to hear from you.
Application Deadline: 26th January 2026
