Additional Information
A Typical Day at Techo!
Morning:
The day begins with a quick meeting with the contractor on-site at the plant to assemble a machine you designed. After clarifying the assembly steps with the team, you finalize a design you’ve been working on to prepare for a design review presentation at 9:30 a.m. This is the first design review for the project, and you know many things will change, which is reflected in your design decisions. You’ve made sure not to dwell on details so you can quickly present a preliminary 3D model and receive further guidance for your design process. During the meeting, key points are raised that require changes and additions, which you note to move the project forward.
Later in the morning:
You return to the plant to follow up on the assembly that began earlier. You check the drawings, measure the part, and realize the machine shop made an error. You contact the shop and ask if they can remake the part today. The answer is “yes,” so you pack up the part and head to the shop to save time. Upon returning, you realize that orders for another project you’re working on are delayed. You don’t hesitate to pick up the phone and contact the supplier.
Afternoon:
You end the day by updating your manager on all developments and changes, then proceed to finalize the design project from the morning while keeping an eye on the ongoing assembly in the plant.
