IOH Customer Service Representative, Temporary role – Job Description

Role Overview:

We have proudly launched a new web portal and application, called Spark. As we expect a peak of volume to come in, we’re looking for some temporary, additional support to reply to these questions that may come through email and call. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for case handling specifically related to SPARK requests and cases. You will act as the main point of contact for SPARK-related queries, ensuring efficient, accurate, and empathetic service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day communication with insured members regarding SPARK cases, via telephone and email.

  • Coordinate and ensure follow-ups for all assigned SPARK contracts and requests.

  • Use the most efficient communication channels (phone, email, letter) for SPARK case management.

  • Prioritize work according to planning to maintain high service performance for SPARK cases.

  • Maintain a cooperative and friendly working environment within the team

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in a related field.

  • Decisive: Takes appropriate action on SPARK cases based on available information.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Accurate: Works faultlessly on SPARK case data input.

  • Disciplined: Follows procedures, agreements, and document flows for SPARK cases.

  • Efficient: Balances quality and quantity in SPARK case handling.

  • Team player: Works effectively within the SPARK team.

  • Computer literate: Quickly learns and uses current office applications.

  • Discreet: Handles confidential (medical) information with care.

  • Identify and share possible improvements in SPARK processes with your manager.

  • Inform Supervisors and Senior Supervisors about problems and inefficiencies in SPARK processes.

Working requirement: 

  • MUST be available immediately for 6 months fixed-term contract.

  • Able to work in rotational shift hours during weekdays and weekends and public holidays.
