Position: Junior Receptionist

🔎 About the Role
We are seeking a professional and friendly Junior Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our guests. In this role you will provide warm, efficient front desk service, assist with reservations and guest enquiries, and support daily operations to ensure a seamless and welcoming guest experience aligned with RIU standards.
💼 What You’ll Do
Greet and welcome guests promptly and courteously at the reception desk.
Handle check-in and check-out procedures accurately and efficiently.
Answer phone calls, respond to email enquiries, and manage guest requests professionally.
Assist with reservations, room allocations, and liaise with Reservations and Housekeeping teams.
Provide clear information about hotel facilities, services, and local area.
Process payments, maintain accurate guest folios, and follow billing procedures.
Maintain the reception area’s cleanliness and professional appearance.
Report and escalate guest complaints or operational issues to supervisors as required.
Adhere to RIU’s service standards, health, safety, and data protection policies.
✔️ What We’re Looking For
Experience in a front office or guest services supervisory role within hospitality (resort or hotel experience preferred).
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and develop team members in a fast-paced environment.
Solid organizational and multitasking abilities with strong attention to detail.
Proficiency in hotel management systems and MS Office suite.
Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
Passion for hospitality, professionalism, and a guest-centric approach at all times.
Relevant diploma or degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, or a related field is an advantage.
