💫What we are looking for?
We are looking for a Financial Accounting Finance Manager to lead the financial accounting function, ensuring robust statutory compliance, effective audit support, and accurate financial reporting for a rapidly scaling healthcare business.
The Finance Team is central to supporting business growth, commercial decision-making, and maintaining high standards of financial governance.
The company specialises in ADHD assessments and ongoing care, operating both privately and through NHS contracts. It has grown rapidly, now employing over 130 staff and multi-source revenue streams. The finance function uses Xero accounting software, with operations spanning remote and office-based work, and aims to maintain maintains robust controls and reporting processes.

Most staff work remotely with regular meetings held at our Canary Wharf office.
😎What You’ll Be Doing:
The Financial Accounting Finance Manager will work closely with the CFO and the Management Accounting Finance Manager in supporting a business scaling towards £100m turnover.
- Prepare year-end accounts and year end file for the auditors.
- Primary liaison with the external audit team, assist with the audit process, including gathering supporting evidence and implementing management letter recommendations to improve financial processes and controls.
- Manage cashflow forecasting and cash management, including setting up new banking relationships and reviewing payment arrangements.
- Set up and establish the India subsidiary in collaboration with the CFO, including legal entity creation and reporting procedures.
- Ensure compliance with FRS102 and tax regulations; review reconciliations performed by the Management Accounting team.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly consolidated financial statements (when required).
- Liaise with possible investors and stakeholders to provide regular financial information as required.
- Oversee segregation of duties within the finance team, ensuring robust controls over transaction processing and payment approvals.
- Support the specification and implementation of a new finance software (ERP solution), contributing to automation and integration of financial operations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies on IR35, remote working, staff expenses, entertaining, and VAT.
🚀To thrive in this role you’ll:
- be a qualified accountant (ICAEW, ACCA, or equivalent), with a strong technical background and previously has audit experience.
- Have experience in preparing statutory accounts and supporting audit processes.
- A strong understanding of UK accounting standards (FRS102) and tax compliance.
- Have experience with financial systems implementations and process automation.
- Report and forecast cashflows, support the CFO in cashflow management and banking relationships.

- Comfortable with MS365 and cloud-based software solutions.
- Provide guidance and oversight to finance team members, ensuring segregation of duties and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
