High Level Statement of the Role:
Provides support for manufacturing processes and leads process improvement efforts.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Be customer centered and understand market drivers.
- Drive process improvements to achieve operational excellence.
- Mentor and develop staff members within organization.
- Understand, support and execute the achievement of performance measures on scorecards.
- Provide resources, planning and budgeting leadership to the organization.
- Redesign participant.
- Serve as a member of improvement task forces as assigned. Assist members of other improvement task forces to achieve critical success factors.
- Develop enhancements to product lines after introduction.
- Investigate Engineering Change Requests (ECR) and issue Engineering Change Notices (ECN)
- Play an active role in the pilot run process for all new product introduction and/or enhancements.
- Supports our Vision and Guiding Principles.
- Proactively communicates across the organization business issues and opportunities.
- Create and sustain a productive and positive working environment by developing people and maximizing flexibility.
