The Finance Platform & Technology team at OpenAI builds and scales the future-proof systems and data architecture that power our core financial operations. We enable business agility, compliance, and operational excellence across quote-to-cash, procure-to-pay, inventory, and asset management for both B2B and B2C. Our focus is on modernizing workflows through strategic integrations, scalable automation, and seamless data flows—empowering smarter decisions, reliable reporting, and sustainable growth as OpenAI evolves.
About the Role
We are seeking an Enterprise Product Manager – Financials to own and scale OpenAI’s Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) platform across financial close, consolidation, account reconciliation, profitability, and master-data governance.
This role is responsible for ensuring that FCCS, ARCS, PCMCS, and EDM operate as a single, trusted financial system of record, tightly integrated with Oracle Fusion ERP, Revenue, and our data platform.
This leader owns product strategy, roadmap, data integrity, controls, and automation for the entire financial close and consolidation ecosystem as OpenAI scales globally and prepares for audit, compliance, and IPO readiness.
In this role, you will:
Execution & Leadership
Drive the execution and continuous improvement of OpenAI’s Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) platform, including FCCS, ARCS, EDM, and PCMCS, ensuring financial accuracy, auditability, scalability, and enterprise-grade governance.
Lead the delivery of global close, consolidation, and reporting capabilities, enabling timely, reliable, and compliant financial results across multiple entities, currencies, and accounting standards.
Execute the integration strategy between Oracle Fusion ERP, EPM, and the enterprise data platform, ensuring automated, controlled, and reconcilable financial data flows.
Ensure SOX-grade controls and audit readiness across financial close, reconciliations, master data, and adjustments through standardized workflows, approvals, and certifications.
Drive operational excellence across the EPM ecosystem, reducing manual processes, close cycle time, and post-close adjustments through automation and data quality enforcement.
Partner with Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and Audit leadership to deliver scalable financial systems that support OpenAI’s rapid growth and regulatory obligations.
Provide execution leadership across cross-functional teams, aligning Finance, Product, Data, and Engineering to deliver high-impact financial systems initiatives on time and at enterprise quality.
Build and mature the Finance Systems product organization, setting standards for delivery, reliability, documentation, and platform ownership across the EPM stack.
Systems Ownership
Own end-to-end design and delivery for financial close, consolidation, account reconciliations, profitability, financial master-data governance, and enterprise financial reporting across FCCS, ARCS, PCMCS, and EDM.
Partner with Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and Audit teams to create trustworthy, auditable, single-source-of-truth financial and management reporting datasets, including standard financial statements, executive dashboards, and narrative reporting.
Drive integrations with upstream and downstream systems including Oracle Fusion ERP, Revenue platforms, Databricks, planning tools, and reporting platforms, ensuring automated, controlled, and reconcilable data flows that power statutory, management, and narrative reporting.
Operational Excellence
Deliver reliable, on-time financial close, consolidation, and reporting across FCCS, ARCS, EDM, and PCMCS through automation, standardization, and SOX-grade controls.
Continuously improve data quality, reconciliation integrity, and close efficiency by eliminating manual processes and enforcing governed, auditable workflows.
You might thrive in this role if you have:
Deep hands-on expertise across Oracle EPM Cloud including FCCS, ARCS, EDM, PCMCS, and Data Management, with a strong understanding of close, consolidation, and reporting.
A strong foundation in financial accounting, FX, intercompany, ownership, and consolidation, and the ability to translate those into governed system design.
Experience owning enterprise financial platforms as products, including roadmap, controls, data contracts, and stakeholder alignment.
A proven track record delivering SOX-compliant, audit-ready financial systems in high-growth or pre-IPO environments.
Experience operating in a fast-paced, highly ambiguous, and rapidly scaling environment, with the ability to prioritize, adapt, and deliver under tight deadlines.
The ability to design and run automated ERP-to-EPM-to-analytics pipelines (Oracle Fusion, Databricks, planning and reporting tools).
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Audit, and Engineering.
A bias toward clarity, control, and financial truth, replacing spreadsheets and manual processes with governed, automated systems.
Nice to Have
Prior experience with Databricks, Anaplan, or Workato/OIC integration platforms.
Experience with Oracle Fusion Financials (GL, SLA, AR, AP, FA) and how it integrates with FCCS, ARCS, EDM, and PCMCS.
Exposure to agentic AI and automation in EPM
Background working with Finance, Engineering, and Data teams in fast-scaling or pre-IPO environments.
