Summary:
A Business/Purchasing Analyst manages warranty claims, part returns, ensures compliance with manufacturer and company policies, resolves product and/or service issues, and analyzes trends in products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with vendors to receive warranty claims accurately and promptly.
- Verify coverage eligibility based on policy terms, product registration, and service records.
- Ensure compliance with company purchasing and finance policies.
- Analyze claims to identify patterns with part returns and warranty claims and report to Director.
- Collaborate with field team to resolve warranty parts under disputes and lost inventory items and come to positive outcome for company.
- Give monthly feedback to Director of Purchasing on process improvement for tracking and reconciling inventory.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to interpret policy documents and technical product information.
- College degree required or 5+ years of finance or analyst experience.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Basic accounting background preferred.
- Ability to hit multiple deadlines in given period.
- Proficient in excel.
