As Vice President- Product Manager within the Product Portfolio Management team, you are an integral part of the team, executing with precision and accountability. In this role, you are responsible for conducting ongoing, comprehensive reviews of Consumer Banking Deposit Products, ensuring that every aspect of our offerings meets the highest standards of quality and reliability. You will perform critical production testing to validate that our systems and processes operate accurately and efficiently, directly supporting the seamless delivery of our products to clients.

 

Your work is especially vital as we prepare for several major initiatives launching in 2026 and beyond. By proactively identifying and addressing potential issues, you help safeguard the integrity of our product ecosystem, enabling the team to deliver innovative solutions with confidence. Your expertise ensures that our strategic objectives are met, risks are mitigated, and our customers continue to receive exceptional value from our products.

 

Job responsibilities

  • Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers 
  • Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap 
  • Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition 
  • Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability 
  • Evaluate and Enhance Controls: Assess current controls, introduce new ones, and provide guidance on enhancements to ensure robust monitoring and compliance.
  • Lead and Consult on Strategic Initiatives: Serve as a consultative expert for major projects, leveraging deep institutional knowledge of Chase Deposit Systems.
  • Co-lead the modernization of monitoring controls in partnership with the Data Analytics and Controls team, ensuring that all updates are thoughtfully designed and effectively implemented.
  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of CB Products Monitoring, from initial review through to production testing and ongoing monitoring.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Data Analytics, Controls, and Product teams, to align monitoring controls with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify gaps and opportunities for process improvements, ensuring that monitoring controls remain effective as products and systems evolve.

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area 
  • Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics 
  • Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management 
  • Experience successfully supporting Chase Consumer Deposit deposit products and systems
  • Excellent relationship management with Agile Product Teams, Product Segments / GMs, IT, and Legal Risk Controls Compliance partners
  • Considerable knowledge of depository products and treasury management services and processes
  • Excellent/strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong time management, organizational and planning skills
  • Strategic thinking skills

  • Demonstrate prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization 
  • Demonstrate experience in highly matrixed, complex organizations and apply product and business acumen in product-driven environments
