Software Engineer – Full-Stack (DigiCert, Inc., Lehi, UT)

 

Develop high-quality applications. Design and implement testable and scalable code. Develop, enhance, automate, support, and maintain the PAAS layer and software. Design, test, and collaborate to move software into production. Participate in the on-call rotation for incident response and resolution. Build, test, and deploy applications. Involved in end-to-end ownership, from requirements to production support, including building and documenting appropriate monitoring, alerting, and running books to allow for detection, response, and resolution. Position is 100% remote and reports to HQ in Lehi, UT. Salary: $130,000 - $175,000 per year.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Information Systems or related field, plus 4 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or any occupation/job title/position involving developing and operating mission critical platforms.

 

Must also have the following special skills: 4 years of professional experience utilizing programming languages (including Java and Python) to develop business applications; 4 years of professional experience performing automation tasks for deployment, service runs, and post deployment cleanups; 4 years of professional experience operating, developing, and troubleshooting operating system and business applications using AWS; 4 years of professional experience troubleshooting network issues using logging tools, visualizations, and shell scripting; 4 years of professional experience performing source control, build automation, testing, and deployment using GIT, Jenkins, Ansible, and Terraform; and 4 years of professional experience utilizing Scrum and Agile methodologies and developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and AWS.
